Well here I am. Being exiled was something I deserved. However, upon arriving I very quickly realised I could not do it alone. This is offical. Please consider my request to be a member of the Winds of Dawn.

Why do I want to join Winds of Dawn?
WOD has been the nicest outgoing clan I have had contact with. Always willing to help. Plus my long term friend T'rr'll found you first. So I no longer want to do it all myself. Oh... I was only here a few weeks and Kiri gave me a very usefull axe. I was impressed.

In what ways do you enjoy helping new exiles?
It is fun helping them. They look so confused and can't even survive the continuous rat investation.[:)] Knowing how I felt, I have already given some items to some new exiles. I am working towards being a good rescuer. Not there yet.

What do you enjoy when you are out of the library?
Traveling both solo and in groups. A good PF helps to get long distances. I enjoy flexing my own muscles and flashing my own weapon to see how I am progressing.

What do I not enjoy?
ummm .... that is a hard one. Falling too many times in one day. Getting trapped by Orga just one snell above the Tanglewood Meadow. [:)] The ranks come slower than I would like.

If you had known my former life before I was exiled, you wouldn't even consider me.

Thank you! I am very much in debt to WOD friendship. Alas someday my story shall become known. Then WOD may have second thoughts.....

Rivba knows but can not tell. I am loath to share but someday I may have the courage.

Well Steady, I can't even remember most of my past - just bits and pieces here and there.

/ponder the city of trees.....

As a rule, we judge exiles by how they act now, not by their past.

I look forward to seeing you at many more WoD events, but please bear with us as we work through our membership process. Right now there is one other in the queue ahead of you, and we have a one-at-a-time rule. If things seem a little slow, you can blame me, because I made this rule ( for the sake of my questionable sanity).

Hello steadyfoot.

I am sorry I had to run to rescue someone as I met you in town center yesterday, so we couldnt really talk to each other much.

You talk about enjoying to rescue new exiles who find themself in trouble. I am a rescue healer, and I know why :)

Since you are a fighter I just wanted to ask if you also like to hunt with newer exiles, explaining things (hunting related) and help them get coinage... or if you prefer solo hunting most of the time?

Hugs,
-Alby

Aaahhh tis a good thing every one exiled is judged from the present rather than the past. For that I am thankful. For me my past is always there to remind me. Rivba was exiled becasue of me. Someday the story shall become known...........

As far as one member at a time goes, take your time with each one. It only happens once. I for one would not want the process hurried just because one was in the que. I don't think I am going any where for a long time. Once exiled it seems it is irreversible. [:)]

As far as hunting goes, I do like to hunt solo and I do that alot.
But.... I also enjoy leading around new exiles explaining things and helping in general. Besides its fun to remember what our skill level was when we were first exiled. It is a good measuring stick to see how far we have come so we don't get bent out of shape about how far we think we need to go. [:)]

So to sum it up. I like both.

Rescuing is important and a lot of fun. Alby the other night was no problem. I had to "retire to study" for the evening anyway.

One of these days I shall have a sunstone so I can effectively join in on the rescueing. (just can't seem to find Elendill)

May the wind always be at your back and your footing be steady and sure,
Steady Foot

Sorry I got a little long winded in my last post. [:)]

No need for long winded posts, Steady Foot! The number-of-posts-counter increases by 1, no matter how much you write! And Kiri is too lazy to implement a typed-character-counter, so there's really no good reason to type a lot! :)

Don't mind Sargon Steady Foot, he's just jealous of Konoko who has a higher number of post and is efficient and concise when she posts. [:D]
