Hey, thanks everybody. Makes me feel guilty about not being active for, oh ... ever.

Had a great time, went out to a bar with my girlfriend and had a Coke. Pepsi actually ... they didn't serve Coke. =)

/ponder Hm.. it seems like 21 is a special age in the US. You're allowed to drink then or what? :) [for smoking probably 140 is required ;)]

I believe it varies form state to state.

In Australia, it's 18, no matter where you go.

The stupid thing is, you get your license at 18. So as soon as you can drive, you can also drink.

Of course, for the first three years of your license, you're not suppose to drink and drive, and if you're caught with a blood alchohol level over 0.0, then you're in big trouble.

Once the three years are up, youc an have a BAC of up to 0.05 before getting in trouble.

At least in Florida, this is how it goes:

15 - Learner's Permit (Only can drive with someone 21 or older, and not at night)
16 - Learner's License (can't drive between 12:00am-6:00am)
18 - Full Driver's License and can buy Cigarettes
21 - Can drink Alcohol

I think the maximum BAC is .08...guess Americans are a bit more reckless [:D] .
