To get a New clan fund started, can i suggest we begin hunting as a group, even tho not a "clan" yet, on a semi-regular basis. Perhaps as a group hunting in the NNF, we can generate the funds needed to start up (currently 2000c for the founder and at least 4 members with 100c each at time of forming clan). All moneys earned during the hunt would go towards the fund.

I can commit to Sunday evenings to go hunting, perhaps around 6pm est.

Do I hear any seconds?

I could do a Sunday evening hunt certainly, and NNF sounds like a good spot. I've been actively money hunting the past few days and currently have saved about 500c. I know Solas and Aerick already have significantly more than that available for the clan founding if need be, and Konoko can contribute 500c as well. So between all them and everyone else who's considering being a part I suspect having enough won't be a problem, it would just be a good idea for people to save up as much as they can so there's not an overly large amount coming from certain people if we can avoid it.

I do think it would be nice to all go as a group and hunt. Can most of us make sometime Sunday? I'm hoping that by then we will also have some of the new clan details worked out and can maybe officially form it by early next week (we can always work out some of the details after the official formation, but we definitely need a name, and enough of the goals for people to make a decision about joining the clan, before we can form).

Something to be considered...
I figure there is no hurry to actually register ourselves as a "clan" I am commited to the formation, but I agree that it wouldnt seem right having a couple of members fronting most of the funds to start it up. I think by raising the money as a group, it would strenthen the bond between potential members and would be an adventure in itself. I have donated the majority of my funds to the Drakes money pool up until my departure. I would dearly like to contribute my share to the new clans formation, as I believe others will also.
In fear of sounding overdramatic, i can say I'm quite exited about the future.

PS. You may have noticed a fellow named "Cradlesong", a healer on the Isle. He hasn't spoken for a great while, but expressed to me his intention to stand before the new can and devote himself to its cause. He realy is a quiet chap, and I hope he can find the strength to speak again soon. His is truly a sad story, and you may learn of it in time.

On Sundays I'm generally free all day, except for if I go out to dinner (which I can try not to schedule during our hunt), so anytime from 1pm-10pm PST should be fine for me.

Please, for the love of all that is holy, consider us ESTers! If the hunt starts after about 8pm Pacific, I won't be able to go.

EST, I should be free in the range of 1pm - 12pm, which is 10am - 9pm PST.

I think I posted 6pm est in another of my posts. I was also thinking of meeting in the circle of trees with the skelleton of the dead (drake?).
