View Full Version : So our goals are...

Here is my summation of the discussion of what our goals should be.

First and foremost, above all else, primarily and of alpha importance is aiding new exiles. Aiding them in a host of ways, and with a good deal of our resources.

In a close second is us having fun. If we are not enjoying ourselves, we simply will not and cannot continue to aid those newer than ourselves. If just teaching new exiles is fun for you, then that is perfect. If you need to run and try to rescue an Orga Camp party at least once a week, no problem. If you want to see how many words you can rhyme with 'fruit' while surrounded by vermine on Dal'Noth, more power to you. However, this fun we have is a means of recharging us for the possibly monotonous talk of teaching.

Now, the rest are mostly sub-goals of the above.

-Having fun as a clan and building clan spirit
-Empowering the clan (with money, with experience, with external relations)
-Setting up automated teaching methods (web guides, maps, etc)
-Taking over Puddleby (OK, I just stuck that one in there)
-Completing quests, such as finding that damn Alchemy Bowl
-Whatever else anyone of us feels like doing at any time

I think that the important distinction here is that we all recognize that training the next generation is our primary goal, but that we have the freedom to follow other interests in addition to our primary goal, and not in place of our primary goal.

Is this a fair/accurate assessment of what we're all saying, or have I missed something entirely?
