Some posts from Steady Foot about quests and hunt for recent exiles made me think of Myrmtarr. As I have understood Myrmtarr has been an enemy of WoD for some time now.

Isn't it time that we (and some recent exiles) tried to find out more about this Myrmtarr? Is it a creature in league with the myrm? Does it control the myrm? Or is it just a crazy exile? We wont know unless we try to find out!

Does anyone else want to join me in this? My suggestion is to try several raids (ooc: and in different timezones) to both the hives and se if we can find anything. Maybe we can even find Myrmtarr itself?

I know I'm not a member of WoD/FoD but I've been a hangarond as long as I can remeber. [:)] (Maybe make it as joint event with ELF?)

That's OK for me (as I believe we get out of the lib at same time ...)
Just name the day.

Beware of stange conjonction when Darshak seem to came. Last Darshak Party didn't give me an everlasting 'souvenir'. I should have been less carefull about red darshak (It is however stange that darshak scout are easily dispatched while darshak marine are very very strong).

Yes!

We must stop the evil myrmtarr before he causes more problems for exiles!

I would advise not treading where your kind have no welcome, putrid bearers of man-stink! Your recent attempts to sally forth into our realms have become irksome to her highness. If they are continued, more serious retaliations from the myrm may be in order. Keep to your sun-lands, child-stealers, and bother the royal kingdom of myrm no longer!

Hail Myrm! Hail her highness!

Seems to me we need to get an expedition and explore the tunnells of the myrm.

Treasure .... huummmm would be nice to find.

Nephilim organised a quick little excursion to the myrm hive a couple days ago. It was Nephilim, Lirr, Lerris, Tardalus, and myself.

We were in the hive discussing what we knew about Myrmtarr. And then guess who shows up? Myrmtarr himself!

We actually got a little conversation with Myrmtarr going (I missed most of it - OOC: my computer froze). Hopefully Neph, Lirr, or someone who saw the whole thing can post excerpts from the text log or something. I've posted a bit below but it contains only a small piece of the Myrmtarr discussion.

Myrmtarr meets my Rock Candy (http://www.windsofdawn.org/uploads/Konoko/myrmtarr-rock-candy.gif)

Anyways, when I got back they were still talking. Myrmtarr had had enough talking and did something to poor Lerris who (foolishly?) decided to take a quick rest in a corner of the hive. Maybe Myrmtarr had exerted some form of control over Lerris that caused Lerris to rest?

But Myrmtarr found Lerris and before we could stop Myrmtarr:
3/28/02 3:44:12p Myrmtarr ponders, "poor, poor fool"
3/28/02 3:44:31p (Myrmtarr bites Lerris in his sleep, injecting a strange liquid into his veins thorugh sharp pincers!)
3/28/02 3:44:39p Lirr ponders, "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
3/28/02 3:44:40p Nephilim exclaims, "ack!"

(here we pushed Lerris away from Myrmtarr and blocked Myrmtarr from reaching Lerris to do any further damage)

3/28/02 3:44:58p (Myrmtarr hisses at the exiles)
3/28/02 3:45:09p Konoko asks, "what did you do?"
3/28/02 3:45:14p Lirr asks, "How do we know you're not a deranged lunatic?"
3/28/02 3:45:37p Myrmtarr says, "I am not the one who steals children in the night."
3/28/02 3:45:51p Myrmtarr says, "Perhaps, you should ask whether you exiles are the deranged lunatics."
3/28/02 3:45:53p Konoko says, "the myrm eggs? they're used for our baking"
3/28/02 3:46:03p Konoko exclaims, "for yummy goodies!"
3/28/02 3:46:12p (Myrmtarr hisses at Konoko)
3/28/02 3:46:42p Myrmtarr says, "And soon...perhaps the blood of those who sleep in your town, shall be our "honey"."
3/28/02 3:46:53p Myrmtarr says, "Lerris will be the first to tell that tale."
3/28/02 3:46:58p Konoko ponders, "that would be bad"
3/28/02 3:47:06p (Myrmtarr pats Lerris on the back.)
3/28/02 3:47:06p Konoko exclaims, "stay away from him!"
3/28/02 3:47:43p (Lirr rubs his face... that itch...)
3/28/02 3:47:56p (Myrmtarr): a sharp clacking sound issues from under Myrmtarr's hood
3/28/02 3:48:08p Konoko asks, "so do actually have control over the myrm or they more like your soldiers?"
3/28/02 3:48:10p Myrmtarr yells, "my queen, I answer your demand!"

(Here Myrmtarr ran off (back to town?). A couple followed him while the rest stayed with Lerris.)

3/28/02 3:48:10p (Tardalus looks pale)
3/28/02 3:48:24p Lirr exclaims, "Revenge!"
3/28/02 3:48:28p Myrmtarr yells, "your town will suffer for your insolence!"
3/28/02 3:48:38p Lirr exclaims, "Lerris!!!"
3/28/02 3:48:40p Lirr asks, "Lerris!!!???"
3/28/02 3:48:43p (Lerris blinks)
3/28/02 3:48:51p (Lerris rubs his neck thoughtfully)
3/28/02 3:48:51p Lirr asks, "How feel you?"
3/28/02 3:48:55p Lerris says, "err... fine"

After that encounter with Myrmtarr we sought revenge for Lerris and attacked the Queen Chamber. And then: Ambush!

Myrmtarr sets up an ambush (http://www.windsofdawn.org/uploads/Konoko/myrmtarr-qc-ambush.gif)

As soon as we entered the QC. The queen was lying in wait right at the entrance. Poor Lirr fell first :(
And there were actually 2 queens in the queen chamber at the same time! I've never known that to happen! Myrmtarr does have some control over these myrm it appears...

Poor Lerris! Whatever Myrmtarr did to Lerris seems to cause him to faint. Unfortunately he fainted in the middle of combat a few times. Perhaps a battle is waging inside Lerris for control?

Lerris collapses (http://www.windsofdawn.org/uploads/Konoko/myrmtarr-lerris-collapses.gif)

And he doesn't appear to have any memory of it and says he's fine. Yesterday Lerris was not showing too many effects of the incident. I fear that whatever Myrmtarr did, it has gone deeper into his system and is exerting more control over Lerris without showing any outward signs any more.

So everyone keep your eye out for Myrmtarr!
And watch for any continued strangeness from Lerris (more strange than usual anyways :)
As I mention above, I think the actual outward signs of control have disappeared. Whatever vile evil is inside of Lerris is biding its time...
