View Full Version : Sunstone
Hello,
How do a sunstone work?
What must I do (if i would have one) to send/recive messages from other exiles?
Where do I wear them? In my trouser pocket? Why could I wear only one of a sunstone and a orga eye?
Thanks for the Help,
Dear Lima

A sunstone is placed on the forehead. When you wear it you will sense all thoughts sent to you and all thoughts sent to everyone. An orga eye is also placed on your forehead so you can't wear both at the same time.
You can use the stone in two ways:
1. /think "message" will send a message to everyone. Default macro is "t".
2. /thinkto "exile" "message" will send a message to the specified exile. Default macro is "tt".

Thank you Nephilm,
And how do I recive massages from other exiles?
[:)] Lima
Hey! I want to receive massages too! I am nice and
furry! So pretty girls go ahead! *laugh*.
Lima - to receive messages you dont have to do anything.
They will be shown like think-bubbles on top of your screen.
(Private sunstone messages can also be seen without wearing
one!)
Regards,
Hor
Thank you Hor,
now I've all, but no sunstone[:(] .
I have only 384c, what must I pay for a sunstone? And where can I get one?
Thanks Lima

Sunstones are sold by Elendil Fa'ril. He is usually in the meadow in Tanglewood or in south farms (he's an NPC). Sometimes he is isn't in the lands at all. His prices vary. The lowest I've heard is about 600. I was recently there and the price at that time was 823. Usually the prices are below 1,000.
There are also exiles that sell sunstones, WormTounge (he is kind of a merchant) sells them for 1,000 usually. I recently spoke to the mystic Raldin (I had my sunstone tuned for 400) and he sells sunstones for 912. I think that the mystic Zorton also sells sunstones.
A good way to finance your sunstone is to make a lot of friends and tell them that you are saving for a sunstone. [:)]
A good resource about suntones and tuning is this:
http://members.aol.com/zortoncl/sstuning.html. Prices aren't up to to date though.
If you need help to get to the meadow, I would be happy to help you!
