hello woders,

I came by a moonstone a little while ago; unlike club that could be given back yo clubius, I didn't find anyway to give it back to a proper owner. Obvioulsy all healer have one. I might consider selling it. BUT, before i want to be sure no evil usage would be make of it (like for instance making of sword of soul, fell blade and the like).

So the question is : besides healer direct use, what the use of a moonstone (going in the moon ?) ?

Archemar

PS: if a moonstone use is going in the moon, I will keep it !!

Err, I don't think it qualifies as an "evil"* use, but a moonstone is rumored to be necessary to the construction of a Blood Blade.

Fell and Gossamer Blades are purchased directly from Witkus I believe, and the Sword of Souls I just don't know about...

*Note: as a healer, I find BBers to sometimes be a pain in the butt, but that weapon can be truly powerful--literally a party saver--in the hands of a highly skilled Blood Lord.

Yup, I bloodblade is made from a dagger and a moonstone. Fell and gossamer are made by Smythus.

Most BB users ARE a pain in the butt - not just for healers. Mostly because 1) they all of a sudden spring on you that they're going to be red during the hunt 2) they often don't take the necessary measures to assure they don't get hit. Then again there are some smart ones too.

A sword of souls can be acquired from Tenebrion in exchange for a purgatory pendant. What he does with purgatory is one reason people consider it "evil" to allow him to have these devices. But the swords themselves are questionable.

deciding the difference between a good bloodblader and a bad one is hard sometimes. No matter how good the blood blader is there is always the off chance that the beast will move slightly and attack the blood blader instead of the brick, i commonly see bloodbladers get shuned for things that could have happened to other fighters as well, why they take the heat when this happens i still dont understand.

in my opinion if your fighting a super buff beast that all you can do is luckhit like sunwyrms and a BBer has already hit it twice, hes done his/her job well becuase most likely the beast will be wounded greatly.

I do however agree that BBing in a place that monsters move like ferals and are not trapped, is a stupid idea, BBers should only use their blades if something is trapped or being bricked and needs to be killed quickly... i also feel it can be easily be used for tags as long as its in a controled envronment.

I don't think a fell blade or a gossamer can be compared on a evil scale with something like a sword of souls. Do people think this or is it more just a lack of knowledge about these weapons?

When I pass 3rd, I expect to be trying to get a gossamer or fell (i'm expecting it will be fell based on how I hunt). I wouldn't mind a gossamer from my understanding as to how they work. Anyways, I just want to make sure that clanmates and others do not see this 2 weapons as evil.

I wouldn't want to end up using them in someone's presence who is uncomfortable with their use. I personally see a fell blade as a great tool to help kill a beast who is threatening our group...
