Indeed, I am interested -- those of you I have gotten to know are, certainly, "good people", and now that I have read your posts, I am impressed and intrigued by the concern, insight and purpose you are bringing to the new clan. It IS only a game -- and please, Corwin, remind us of that often -- but that doesn't mean the fun can't be derived from serious community efforts to make the experience better for all.

For me, joining up with all of you would add a new challenge to life as an exile -- a challenge to be a meaningful contributor towards achieving the goals you have been discussing.

Not having been a clan member in the past, I find myself with little to add to your organizational and governance discussions. As to the clan name, the idea of a whimsical, humorous name is enticing, but folks do tend to judge a book by its cover, and the line between humorous and silly is easily crossed. Perhaps the humorous names should be saved for the internal positions: building on the "Winds" theme, the web mistress could be the clan "Windbag", the founders might have the titles Augustus and Augustina...

I will continue to follow the discussion group and look forward to talking with all of you more.
