Who's what..that?

I am sorry but I am quite confused. I spent all my time studing, and when I came back the clan was torn asunder!! Who is in the new clan, and who stayed in the old clan? What is going on, and who wants to still be on the newsletter. I don't know if I should change clans or what I want to assess the situation first.

Your confusion is quite understandable! Amy, Amelia, Lisette, and Sean (The incarnation of Alaric) are, to my knowledge, the current guides of the Silver Drakes. Kiriel D'Sol, Aerick, and Farhope (and a large number of ex-drakes, many of whom have farewell related notes on the silver drakes forum pages) are working to help bring forth the new clan.

The split occured because the guides who currently remain in the Drakes felt that the Drake's current system of leadership was either working fine, or could be fixed using ideals already found within that system; those who left felt that adding to that system could accomplish things in a more effective manner -But when they brought this up, they were informed that no changes would occur, and that they should leave the clan if they found that unacceptable.

I suggest you seek out one (or more) of the current guides, and one (or more) of the former guides and get a direct conversation from them about the situation of each clan before you make any decisions as to where you belong. Firsthand information is always the best. I wish you well in your search!
