Hello members of WoD,

I am Kalian Noreal and this is my application to this wonderful clan. Feel free to post any other comments or questions afterward ;)

Why do you want to join Winds of Dawn?

I want to join Winds of Dawn because I want to be part of an active clan that actually does things as a group instead of just doing nothing with each other and saying that they are a clan. I also want to help out other people in our world so that they can enjoy it as much as i have for the past years.

In what ways do you enjoy helping new exiles?

I help new exiles by showing them around town, hunting with them a while to show them the ropes and give them a little bit of copper to help them off, and even some spiffy blue clothes ;)


What do you enjoy doing when you are out of the Library?

When im out of the library I enjoy talking with other about current events and all around socializing, I enjoy coin hunting more then hunting in gerneral, but that can be fun as well. Collecting rare clothing is another one the things I do.

What do you not enjoy doing?

I guess hunting for insane amounts of time of the same creature, for example DC.

1) What do you think about the 'brions brothers and what are you relations with them?

Well as most know I serve Melabrion, but i serve also all the brions in general. I think they Brions are good people, and ys somtime they do injure other exile, but for good reasons. So all in all you should not fear them and just try to understand them and help them.

2) [not very important] Is there any relation-link between Kalian and Kodel (ic, sure)?

Well Kodel isnt a relative because im a Fen'van (Fen/Sylvan) and hes a Halfling, He is much more of a really close friend to me that I consider as my brother, even thoug I dont see him much.

Kalian,

I was not aware of your affiliation with the 'brion brothers, and this has been the subject of some discussion between the members of our clan.

As individuals, the members of WoD represent many different schools of thought. I, for example, am a Vesper Via in Nox Sorora. Others in WoD dislike the Sisterhood. However, we put aside our differences to pursue our common goal of helping new exiles. Those of us who are active in Nox Sorora have been asked not to involve the clan in Nox Sorora business.

So, here is the critical question:

Do you feel you can keep 'brion and clan business seperate?

Also, since the 'brions have been known to be at odds with various exile groups from time to time, how would you handle it when such a conflict arose with a group another clan member belongs to?

Im sure I most likely could, but I am very involved in the brions so It may be hard but I will try to keep it ot of the forums and hopfully away from anyone in the clan that does not want to be involved.

Also, since the 'brions have been known to be at odds with various exile groups from time to time, how would you handle it when such a conflict arose with a group another clan member belongs to?

I guess I wouldent argue with them about the current situation and try to refrain from bringing up the conflict.
