Hiya,
I noticed several times now, that I have troubles to view movies
that were created with the OSX client on my OS9 client (and
vice versa).
Isn't there are a easy way around this? It seems the type and
creator are set differently for each platform... so the client
fails to recognize a movie-file if it's from another platform.
In OS9 I can use Resedit to fixup the type&creator and I was
told Filebuddy can be used in OSX to do the same. Anyone
got a better solution? Are there technical reasons why this
happens?
Could DT fix the clients to use both the same type&creator?
(Or just enable the clients to ignore that setting and trust the
user to load a real movie file?)
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
HWC Hor
