Dear Winds of Dawn,
I've known many of you, indeed some of you, since I washed up on the shore of the Lok Grotons about two years ago. You've all been excellent friends to me, helped me to feel at home. I am very grateful!
I can't say that I understand the purpose of "clan" on these islands, but since it seems important, I suppose I should join one.
I will be honest: I am terribly bored here and rather fed up with this situation. It's been two years. I won't fool you into thinking I don't know why we're all here. I just want out, that's all.
But if I can't get out, then, well, I would want to be a part of a good group of people I trust. I've looked into Rising Claw too, as I've had the greatest interest in the Fen'Neko species. I do wish I had paid better attention during my historical anatomy and anthropology courses. It's nice to be able to see such fine recreations of this fascinating species!
I would say I have more than a passing interest in joining you. But I do not know how to proceed. I have read the requirements, and to my knowledge I have only been on one semi-official "Windy Chicks of Dawn" hunt. But I am not often away from my studies these days, and don't know if I will ever be able to attend your meetings.
Do let me know what is necessary, and if you wish to drop me a personal note, you can reach me at mailbox 38998420 and at courier tessa@minstrelmuse.com
Thanks,
Dr. Tessa Malthus
