We had some strong fighters so we decided to go the Barrens on Ash Island which is just inside a path that needs 130 pathfinding ranks (Book 1 in other words) in order to see.
There were many huge ferals there of the dark blue and grey varieties as well as some new Darshak in a variety of spiffy outfits. While we were able to take a brief visit to the Rebel Stronghold, and two of us were able to turn in a Shank for Rebel Esteem, we weren't able to get very far because the giant grey ferals kept spawning on us.
We'd be in the first snell after the semi-safe area, lure from the west, and get ready to go north when the ferals would spawn and we'd need to chain the fallen, heal up and by the time we exited more ferals would have spawned in addition to the ferals that were already there.
Not that I'm complaining as we got quite a few vanquishes and kills and the coin was pretty good considering how many of us were there. We were also able to all walk home using our own two feet which is another bonus.
I'll do some more advertising for next week on the Sentinel and will take out a Koppi message as well as using the status site.
