I knew that the server was going to be moved...
has it been moved to another dimension?

Server unreachable at 9:20AM EST, FRIDAY 12/20.

I just want to get some eggnog...is it too much to ask for?

DT said, iirc, that they expected the move to take about 8 hours - which means it should have been completed at 9AM EST. However, as von Clausewitz said some years ago, "no battle plan survives contact with the enemy."

The server machine is on the 'net - I can ping it - but the server software is apparently not yet running. I infer they've run into some kind of problem.

Right now the server is dead again....sudden death no warning...
checked with several folks, noone seems to be able to get on.
