OOC: RP, TK and stuff

I (HWC Sargon) am trying to give Sargon some kind of profile. I'm trying to get him involved more into things happening in CL. And I think that having a clear profile is helpful to achieve this. I'm never as creative as HWC Sleipnir (or any other RQ-member for that matter I fear) but, welp.. all I can do is to give it a try. I feel that 'getting involved' more is the only thing which will help me to stay in the lands.

I agree with Lilly's clicker, that at the moment a lot is happening in TK and surroundings. But I hope that DT will also provide storylines which don't have to do with TK only. But I don't intend to depend completely on DT for this to happen. DT can't provide something for all of us. (they'd need hundreds of GMs for that :) So stories DT can provide usually involve a large group of exiles and naturally only a few of the players can play a really significant role in it.

Reading other boards and the newsgroup made me realize that there are many other clanners who would love to 'get involved more' into things. And it doesn't have to be something 'big'. For example whenever I see Unagi in town she does something I have to laugh. (like she's trying to steal a chocolate bar and acting innocent) Yeah I know a lot think that Unagi is annoying but I think she's rather creative! (and Sargon has chocolate coins to tease her! =) Another example is Karkras' disappearance: while I don't know the details I'm sure that the TAN-members had a lot of fun with this and DT didn't have to do anything with it.

I'm not sure whether I make a whole lot of sense here and I'm sorry for that. =)

Just a note...some of you folks no doubt saw my semi-rant on the newsgroup (and a more ranty-rant on the Tan website) about questws and getting people involved.

While not terribly helpful, HGM has told me (HWC Aethelred) that the Fire Island quest is undone, and is not a hack and slash adventure. Karkras, myself, and Fist are now committing ourselves to doing ALOT more exploring on Fire Island. I know many of you guys spend some time there, if WoD would like to combine some efforts, I think it would be fun for both clans. We have come to the conclusion that the ideal exploring group for the island is 5-6 people (no reason not to have 2 or 3 groups exploring different places at the same time), with one of those members a full PF. Also...the Karkras disappearance WAS a success, and Tan is prolly going to do more character-generated quests in the future. It is alot of fun to do those kinds of quests, although difficult within the CL system as the GMs will not help or give any leeway/support, and I think WoD is the kind of clan that would do well with character quests as well.

What are your thoughts/ideas about the FI stuff?
I'm guessing it is something to do with the Voolcons. Kiri, myself, and Crushette were on FI a while ago and we actually found a voolcon outside of the walls where they usually reside.

We didn't get much chance to try talking to him and stuff. For some reason Crushette was trying to kill him... :(

So what theories and stuff do you and the rest of Tan have?

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that WoD would be interested in further FI exploration. It's a favourite place of a number of Wind members...

Some advice for the wise: Don't hunt with Crushette or Christopher. They're real jerks, and tend to get people killed. Hunting with both is even worse, since their PWC is really horrible at playing two chars at once. I don't mean to be insulting, but they're a real pain.
