View Full Version : Slipping in the Back

I was in fallen in the fighters guild hall earlier- do you realize how hard it is to get a healer there?
Wait- no, I didn't re up with the guild. I am still an exile- SO WHAT WAS I DOING THERE?
The back door is open. I fell by the breeze crack and a fighter chained me into the pub. The chain slipped as soon as we were in, but I was pushed up the ladder and into the hall.
I wonder- how far could I go? If Michael pushed me, could I be pushed into the 6th circle room?
How about the healer hall? Could i be pushed in there? And then Healed? Could I attempt the test?

A fallen exile can not be pushed into the healers guild by either a fighter or a healer.

Healers Hall- A non healer can not be pushed or chained into the back.
Fighters Hall- A non Fighter can not be pushed or chined through the front door, or pushed through the back, but can be chained to the pub, then pushed upstairs.
Looks like a bug.

Have you tried to study with any of the trainers in the barracks?

Here's how to get up inside the fighter hall, if you have a few spare coins and want to try it.
1) Fall to surf.
2) Have a healer heal you to the point just before rising (fall twice and time it, to be sure)
3) Have a fighter with a few red healing potions in stock chain you to the fighter's hall.
4) Have the potions used on you
5) Congratulations, you're up!

Thanks, Hidden! Great idea.
Imagine Mystics learning to Brick, Healer Bloodbladers.
Even Michael would find a Mystic more useful if he had an Evus ledger.
Of,course, if anyone is interested, do it fast because its a bug and the door is going to close soon.

Healer BBers isn't going to happen for many reasons: One is that healers can't qualify, another is that getting a BB has nothing to do with the fighter hall. A third is that RHPs don't work on healers.
The only way a healer could get fighter training is as an exile, if the fighter trainers even do train people.

Hypothesis: a nonfighter will not be able to train with the fighter trainers in the fighter hall, even if they get in (by method previously described).
Reasoning: a nonfighter cannot train with those who have ledgers in the fighting arts.
But, of course, I'm interested in the actual test. Bob, I'm willing to donate some coin towards your buying an RHP to do this test.

Further reason: Nonfighters cannot train with the Grotto trainers.

I dont think that was always the case. I think at one time you would have been able to train atkus if you got into the fighter hall as a healer. Now trainers are smart enough to look at your profession (this was before places like the grotto).
The reason I think this was I remember a GM posting to the NG saying that it would be possible to open the first room of the fighter and healer hall to all races now, because trainers were smart enough to know the difference now.

Too late, back door to fighter pub was closed.
