Raffles

I have a quick question about raffles...

The one and only time I've won anything from a raffle, I happened to be in the lands at the time the raffle was drawn. This has lead me to worry that maybe you need to be in the lands at the time the raffle concludes in order to win, or that you have to claim your prize in a certain amount of time. Can anyone clear this up?

You do not have to be in the lands at the time of the drawing to win the raffle. I've won a couple and never been in the lands at the drawing. I am not sure about the time limit. I am guessing that there is one, but it is only a guess.

I've won a fair number of raffles. I just buy a few tickets here and there - it's kind of fun to win! :)
They'll hold the items for ya. I don't know what the timelimit is either...

Ive won quite a few auctions. Some while in the lands, some while studying. I have never won an auction while watching, but I have watched while others won.

I believe it is a totally random selection. I do not believe that any factors other than luck are used. I have heard a rumor that Karma was a factor, but I discount it.

BTW I never buy more than one ticket. Luck is luck.

Forgot to add- there is a time limit to picking up stuff, and if your account expires you have a 10 day grace period to pay up. if that time passes, you lose any auction items and any items in storage.
