I am trying to compile a list of NPC's in the lands.

I would appreciate any help. I would like a Name, Location, and (if possible) Screenshot of the NPC saying - whatever best helps someone understand what the NPC does.

I have all of the NPC's in and near Puddelby. What I need is the ones further afield. And all the Fighter and Healer trainers. And a fighter's view of Hekus and Healer's view of Bodrus.

Please send replies to bobarchercl@yahoo.com or PM me here. Or post the reply and a clipped picture.

Note: No Mystic NPCs - I am not going to include any Mystic related NPCs in the guide.

I had an idea of putting something like this up on the Eyes of Puddleby but am too busy with the Bestiary and the new Events section and so the npc section was bumped to the bottom of the list.

If you are going to do this, would you like it to be posted at Eyes of Puddleby? I will make the change to html and of course give you full credit.

Please contact me if you're interested.

Why no mystic NPCs?

I recall the Dwarven Militia also had something like this.

Because they're super ultra-secret and only mystics who know the secret handshake can know who they are and what they do.

At least, that's my understanding of the official stance.

Thanks, I was going to ask if you would host it.

Worthy goal Bob, but one flaw...

While leaving out all the mystic related NPCs sounds all well and good, they will end up being obvious by they're absence if the list ever nears completeness, as any NPC that isnt on the list will either be new or mystic..and its fairly easy to work out which...
Perhaps better to include the more obvious ones, which will most of the ones that non-mystics can see/talk to....eg the 2 folks at the entrance to the mystic pub, the wandering attache's, and townsfolks that mutter about mystics, perhaps the ether trainers, and similar NPCs.

Rincewind's suggestion sounds fine to me.

I'd also offer the suggestion that if you are worried about revealing a mystic "secret", but still want to put the NPC into your list, just put the NPC's name and something like "He/She does mystic-y things." in the description.

Great Idea! Ill present the exile's view of every NPC accesable to an exile.

This project has had some delays (OOC- lost all my data- twice. Backups dont work unless theyre offsite :( ) but I hope to work on it more. Remember, I want a snell the NPC is in, and a text bubble.
