Heyas!
I was able to work with Leth Nimbletoes and his research in improving the sunstone. The final product is Suncrystals and Sungems.
Suncrystals allow /thinkclan.
Sungems allow /thinkclan and /thinkgroup messageing.
Each upgrade is 300c. A fair price I think. I'm sure I could have charged more, but I'm not out to take advantage of everyone. I know there is lots of demand so I will do my upmost to provide this service to all I can as soon as I can.
Also I asked Leth about the possiblity of of working on a healing Potion for healers. He said he had a good many volumes on healing potions and he seemed confident he could come up with something. He will put a list of needed items together as soon as he has finished his research.
So:
Sunstone - 538 new, or 225 to tune each wear level
Upgrade to Suncrystal - 300
Upgrade to Sungem - 300
Looks like we have something new to spend coins on!

Interesting where is Leth Nimbletoes anyway?

I think he's out in the East Forest, but you probably want to look for Zorton, as he is the one who does the upgrades.

So, anyone want to provide a description of how the new features work? /thinkclan is fairly obvious, but what about /thinkgroup?

Each exile has their own group, which can contain up to five exiles.
Add an exile: /useitem sungem /add NAME
Remove: /useitem sungem /remove NAME
List group: /useitem sungem /who - online members are marked with (*)

IMHO, groups should be unlimited in size, or it's much easier to just broadcast in code. If it's limited to 5, that seriously cuts down the communication potential.
If Ann's still hanging around here, could we get a comment on why limit is so low?

If I can hazard a guess, it probably has something to do with the share limit also being 5.
I really wish the share limit was increased to 10 if there has to be a limit at all and there not being a group limitation.

That was my guess, too, but I'd like to hear the official reason. If it's because the share limit is 5, that's a pretty shitty reason. Ah well. I suppose the best thing to do, assuming it's not going to change any time soon, is to write a macro to circumvent it. Shouldn't be particularly difficult.

If you write the makro, I hope you will share it with us.

I'll chime in with the view that 5 is far too low for /thinkgroup. I would think the sungem intended for leaders of a hunt, so they can give everyone directions/instructions without having to yell, or without having to broadcast. Often those groups are larger than 6 people.
Didn't Hidden once say that the gods intended for the ideal group to be 10 fighters, 4 healers, 1 mystic? If so, then the gods ought to make the limit at least 14.
Even if one writes a macro to switch groups of five with a keystroke, that's still 3 messages for 15 people, and assuming sungems have the same reuse hiatus that sunstones do, that'll slow things down, and I think larger groups will prefer to broadcast to the world.
Taryn.
It's not entirely decided yet, but in the fairly near future (you know, "soon!" [:)]) it may be possible for people (either everyone or members of some subclasses) to learn to expand their /thinkgroup group size, or even to keep several independent, named groups.
