I am sending this message because I would like to join the Winds of Dawn.

1.Why do you want to join Winds of Dawn?

I first heard about you guys when I met Kiriel d'Sol, and she helped me a whole lot as a newbie. I always like the idea of helping out newbies, and also ive never met a mean WoD member. I'm sick of the Purple Tors, since there aren't any more members, and its not a really organized clan. I would like to be in a better clan, and more organized, i.e. WoD.

2. In what ways do you enjoy helping new exiles?

I like to show them new areas of the world, and help them hunt, and be a brick for them. I also like to show them little secrets about the world, that may or may not be common knowledge to everyone else. It's fun to show people the world.

3. What do you enjoy doing when you are out of the Library?

I like to solo hunt, and look around and explore. I also enjoy going on hunts to foreign islands, and discovering little places. Even if I die, it's lots of fun to see a new place.

4. What do you not enjoy doing?

I don't like coinwhoring that much, and I don't like ULTRA obsessive RPing. I love to be in the game, but it's a little too much when nobody can get out of it once in a while to have a social discussion. I like to have conversations, and sometimes they don't always involve IC things. However, I do see the value of staying IC as much as possible and I try to do that when
appropriate.

hey, I just wanted to apologize for not making many WoD events... as a result of OOC things, (job) I cant really be sure when i can clan, thus I never knw when the events are, and If I can make them.. It's all just too variable for me to know exactly when or what to do at any given time. I would like to join, however I understand if my inability to be reliable for attendance these events will be a factor in making it impossible to join.

Oh, that's ok TreeBeard, it's just that you need to come to at least three events before we can vote on you for membership. It mighth be possible to waive that requirement though if you can find another way of meeting most of the clan members, that's all the requirement's for anyway. I'm just trying to keep track of how many events you've been to so I know when I can start your vote. There's no rush though, take your time, we aren't going anywhere. Since you haven't (I assume) been to three events yet I may start processing Vermilion's application, but don't think that means we've given up on you. The Newbielympics which are coming up in a few weeks will probably be a great time to meet more members, there should be lots of events that week. Also, our meetings are very predictable, Friday at 6pm PDT alternating every other week with Sunday noon PDT. You can check the events page to see which week it is. Our meetings usually last about an hour, drop in any time, and there is often a clan hunt afterwards. The meeting and the hunt count as two events, so if you can make one pair you'll be all set.
