I have an Orga Drum. Is it one of the musical instruments? I have no bardic qualities whatsoever.

It is a kind of musical instrument, the only one not limited to Bards. This means it can be sold, and played by anybody. It's very limited (4 notes only) and breaks rather easily and *forever* (it seems not bard status nor Loovma prevents this).
Some bards do look for them as they can be used in duets and trios like other instruments. Because of the fragility, it's not worth much more than 150-300c IMO.
Hope this helps!

What do you call a talentless individual who likes to hang out with musicians?
- a drummer [:D]

I thought if you are a bard you could have Hendrux repair drums.

What do you with a drummer who has no sense of rhythm?
Take away one of his sticks.....
And make him a conductor!

Sor! I'm ashamed of you! Everyone knows that orga drums can play *six* notes, not four! :P (They are: \gb=gb/gb)
Drums can be useful for duets and trios, but they aren't really good for much by themselves unless you like making loud noises. Okay, so they *are* actually useful to most people. ;)
Drums can break in two ways, actually. When originally found, they are broken, and must be repaired by Hendrux before they can be played. When they are played, they have a chance of breaking in two ways. When they break one way they break only slightly and are repairable. When they break the other way, they are completely broken, unrepairable, and are discarded.
Theoretically, bards will break drums less often, and have a higher chance of breaking drums in repairable ways instead of unrepairable ways.
At least, that's my story and I'm sticking with it. :)

Coriakin!
I'm ashamed of you! Everyone knows that the orga drum can play *seven* notes, not six! :P (They are: \gb=gb/gbb#)
That last note (/b#) has saved me a few times when writing drum songs.. it's actually quite the nice note.
I agree.... drums *can* be useful. I've used them a number of times in duets/trios... and a few drum solos, at that.
I haven't had a drum break... so I wouldn't know about that. Pfft.

Egad! I've been beaten at my own game! I never knew that you could do that. Well now, that's very interesting. I wonder what Maz would have to say about it... but I'm not telling him. ;)
