Bob... it's looking like there might be arrows in south MI... and where there's arrows.....

Oh... looks like someone else was thinking the same thing... On TMN Hrothgar wrote:

I believe these are just the BAGS to hold quivers and bolts which means we still need to find the actual quivers and bolts, a way to make bows and crossbows, and perhaps the trainers to allow us to use a bow and crossbow if this skill needs training.

I doubt that all components are either in place or accessible at this time. Perhaps the other components won't be available until we help repair the village or drive back their enemy to the north or perhaps a needed NPC isn't accessible yet. Not that I'm saying we shouldn't be excited but I am counciling patience before all the pieces come together and we truly have ranged weapons.

Still, this has been a very exciting update and the new island is beautiful! [:D]

that's cool!

Bob's probably having some fit or something and can't even manage to type anything. I'm sure we'll have to wait a few days (a week at the most) I'm guessing before we hear from him... :)

Sorry, I was so busy cleaning up the huge pile of drool on the floor hear.

Arrows!!! Yea!!!

I gotta go get an arrow bag.

Hmm, I may just have to join a guild *shudder* so I can handdle MI a little better. (Being unprofessioned is like being a half-strength Mystic with none of the tricks.)

Don't be silly! I've been on the south side of MI myself many times and right now it's not really that bad if you just stay out of certain areas and bring along other people with you if you want to explore.

Only join a guild if you like what they are offering in terms of skills and if you're willing to invest the time and ranks to learn them. If you enjoy being an exile then don't feel you need to change just to explore.

If it comes to having to be a fighter to learn how to use bows or crossbows then you can make that decision at that time.

Well, if you need help getting the bag, then I'll be glad to help.

An archer without a bow and arrow is a strange sight indeed. [:)]

Just thought id post considering it isnt a commonly known fact yet.
It costs 75c as well as a boar corpse to make a quiver, something the traders in the cave neglect to mention.

Well.... I don't think I have ever seen a boar. Where are they found?

In South MI (aka GI). It is way over hunted at the moment, so finding one left alive would be hard.
