Hi!

I just passed the 4th circle test.
Here's the visionstone: http://www.windsofdawn.org/uploads/Konoko/Konoko_passes_4th.sit
It's pretty boring :)

I came really close a few months ago (just one or two hits hit left on the orga). But after a few failed attempts that must have just been a fluke.
Anyways, 7 IC months of ferocious studying paid off!

And I was right, the 4th circle belt does look pretty snazzy! Black's always good :)

Yes! But it's not just lifting books. I sometimes have to fight for my comfy chair :)

i was looking at some of the new image files.... I swear on the library I can see, faintly, engraving that seems to read "Konoko's Place."

I know! But I still have trouble with some exiles. I guess they just get excited I'm finally out of the chair for once and want to try it out :)

Way to go! Konoko! [:D]

Man, all this time in the library I could have been lifting books! [:)] Good idea!

Great job Konoko although I did notice you had a tendency to swing out. [:p]

What's your goal as a fighter now?

I do tend to do that don't I?
I get impatient. It's been one of my weaknesses for ages.
I did have tons of regia and little balthus. To take these tests seriously I obviously needed to up my atkus. Doing that of course meant I needed to do my balthus.

What's your goal as a fighter now?
So as a fighter now I would like to get my regia back up, I bet that sillyvan lerri has even passed me now. Is he even still around?

Anyways, I wouldn't mind a trip out to the ravine/grotto or whatever where those special trainers are. Maybe get some rodnus or something.

And I also think I'll work on some of the non-fighter skills like skea, dentir, and maybe some sewing.

And then if this ranger ever comes available, that might be something to work on.

Oh and if anyone's interested in my ranks at the time of passing the test:

If I tweaked more of the atkus/balthus, I could have passed earlier. But I get bored just training one thing all the time :)
I'm sure people have passed with a lot less.

I'm an impatient fen - swinging out is bad

Read over your ranks... was wondering how much Atkus it would take to pass. Thanks. [:)]

BTW who is Sartorio, Frrinakin & Dentir Longtooth and what do they train you in?

BTW who is Sartorio, Frrinakin & Dentir Longtooth and what do they train you in?

Sartorio teaches to mend clothes (tailoring), Frrinakin teaches to speak the language of the People (fen), and Dentir Longtooth teaches to extract mandibles from critters like noids and scarmis (the equivalent of Skea for furry critters).

And CONGRATS Konoko! It was about time too ;)

Thanks Drablak - it did take a while :)

Fens have some kind of atkus definiciency so you'd need less. I think I have that right

From what I've heard humans have no deficiency in any trait but they also don't have any strength.

Fen'Neko have weaknesses in Histia and Atkus (even though Atkus is a Fen'Neko) but have strengths in Balthus and Regia (whose trainer is a Fen'Neko).

I'm not completely certain about the weakness in Atkus but I have heard many times from many Fen'Neko that they would get hurt more than other folk until they trained with Histia.

Yep, the histia issues are especially noticable in newbiehood, leading to the term "Newbie Fen Falling Syndrome"
