how does it work?

I want to change my direction in fighting. Does untrainus untrain random trainers at random numbers? (at about 750 ranks if it helps). So far it sounds like a bad thing. People telling me they get back 20-30 ranks for every 100 untrained. I'm want all the info I can before making the choice.

First off, I'll say I think Untrainus is a bad idea for almost everyone. I did it with one character and he got back about 60% of the ranks he untrained. Really wasn't worth it especially since some of the training he re-trained anyway. Untrainus seems to take proportional amounts from everything you have trained.

If you want to take a direction in your fighting, it's better to just start training in the new direction then go the quick way and use Untrainus. You lost a lot of ranks in the process and since there are few fighter trainers that are a waste of ranks you'll be worse off in the long run.

You could always use a wild wedensday to get a feel for what Untrainus will do for you. Or, does anyone know if the old server is still up? Last time I was on it, nothing counted.

Last time I checked, Untrainus was removed from Wild Wednesdays.

I would untrain only if it worked the way I wanted it to :) Doesn't seem worth it. Thanks for the help :eek:
