Now that we are having regular hunts for new exiles, I thought it might be worth some discussion of places to go. Last time we went to FI. The previous hunt went to undine hut and west beaches. In general, I don't think we should limit these hunts to "easy" places, but we should go places a FOB newbie can have fun. Given a reasonable turn out of clan members to support the new exiles, a trip to OC could be fun, since orga are reasonably easy to hit. Noth and KI, on the other hand, are probably not a good idea because they have hard-hitting critters.
What do others think?

If it was me as a newbie on the hunt, the key would be places that I could tag reasonably easily, and interesting places that I'm not likely to see on my own. Some newbie exiles might like it if we went somewhere they can actually make kills and not just tags.
Something as simple as south forest could work well for a hunt with real newbies: the beasts are varied in both power and identity, and the area is large enough for a long hunt but close enough to town for anyone who needs to leave early.
Orionwood on Centaur island is a good place where newbies could "stand on their own feet" as long as others are around to provide backup when needed. It has the advantage of being easy enough that newbies we take could later go back with their own all-newbie party, if they want-- so we'll have showed them something they can use on their own.
A Marsh tour, the Savannah, or Tanglewood seem like promising choices as well.

The boat tours I used to do were always great fun, especially since newbies really don't go out on boats much. Especially worth visiting is Ash isle, as it has stuff that's easy to tag, yet is off the beaten path. There's also the lake although walking there takes forever.

Noids and undine hut could both be good. As they are easy enough to tag. Maybe baby noids if you're lacking in a good brick.

The entire east forest is pretty good since there's sightseeing and lots of lower stuff to hit although a tad boring at times.
Tanglewood is a good place too. Even Snagglewood can be good if the newbies are a bit higher level due to the amount of berserks that can be found.
Many of the other islands are excellent including Centaur Island and Tenebrion's Island.

Anouther good tour is the underground. The skeletal challenge, all the entrances (handy during invasions,) and out thru the well for a short tour or up into the hives for a longer one.
East forest is great- lots of destinations, safe caves, and sights.
The old cemetary is rewarding- all the newbies get a rank.
The cloud, on a chain thru the mirror is fun, most newbies cant get in there.
A run through NWF to the beach is good too. Lots of Kitties.
