Sixth Blow It up contest

Hello all,

The Winds of Dawn have decided to open up "Blowing It Up," our Sixth fund raising contest, to the populace of Puddleby. The purpose of this contest is to raise Funds for an upcomming Newbilympics. Come coin-whore with us until you drop!


Short rules:
Team of about 4 exiles earn coins together, best teams will receive fabulous cash prizes!

Long Rules:
Team are made of 3 to 5 exiles, one of which must be a member of Winds of Dawn,
Blowing It Up will start at 11 AM PST on Saturday, September 10th , and will end at 11 AM on Sunday, September 11th,
Contest will start and end at bottom of cliff in highland,
During contest team member must stay together when out of lib,
Money can be EARNED in almost any way: hunting, payment for services, challenge,
Selling and auctioning is allowed, provided items are found by the team after the start of the contest, and are sold/auctioned before contest end,
Selling beer, wine, cakes, shovels, and other crafted items is allowed under same limitation (ingriedients must be found after the contest starts),
Money in one

Team Backrest will fly again - at least the Connie and Delirium part will - Are Konoko and Amelia around? I don't think I've seen them in a while. If they aren't, then we'll need to find another team member or three.

I think we meant contest to last 24 ooc hour, ending precisely when we start our usual sunday meeting.

SO basically, Deli you'll have to figure out at which PXT time we start the sunday meeting [:D]

OK, I saw the koppi announcement over the weekend. It's going to confuse people. The reason is that the USA is on "Daylight Savings Time" (xDT) right now, not "Standard Time" (xST). DT is the summer time and ST is the winter time and there is a 1 hour difference. Our Sunday clan meetings are always at 12:00 noon Pacific Time, either PDT or PST, whichever happens to be in force at the time. Since DT goes for another few weeks, that means the contest is noon to noon PDT (current time zone for the US west coast).

I think the vast majority of people are not even going to notice whether there's an "S" or a "D" in the time listed; they'll just look at the number. If the announcement said "11:00 PST" then they'll be there when their clocks say 11 (plus or minus time zone hours). If it said "11:00 PDT" then they'd also be there when their clocks said 11.

Exactly. That's why I said Archemar's announcement is going to confuse people. He said P*S*T and he means PST, even though people's clocks are on PDT (or MDT or CDT or EDT) in the US right now. I'll add a Koppi update when I am out tonight to clear it up. Archemar isn't completely familiar with US time zones, and I have to admit I'm not completely familiar with European ones.

And only like 6 months late to help out my team :)

But 18000+ coins! That's amazing. 10,000 for a pelt totally helps :)
So I guess the team wouldn't feel guilty at all, eh?
