Dear clanmates,
this post is only to say you that I will no more train, for 3 to 4 years at least, with the fighters trainers.
Just now, I am training with Gorton (I have just met him in the north west forest). My idea is to train mainly with Master Spirtus and Master Mentus.
Oh yes, this is not really true as I will continue to train with Histia. So, I will slowly become a fighter who can no more learn while fighting, only in the library :-)

Hi Farhope and rest of the clan! =)
May I ask what Gorton trains? I suspect he's training you to brew beer or something?! [afterall he's a dwarf, if memory serves me right]

About Master Spirtus: Yes yes, all fighters should train with him! That helps us healers a lot when healing you! :) [I don't dare to say that *I* don't have a single rank with Spirtus though *laughs*]
About Master Mentus: Do you have an idea what he'll help you with when training with him? Just whap me if that's none of my business, or if you feel like whapping someone for no reason =) [I'm guessing you want more than the usual 15-25 ranks]
OOC: Anyone happens to know whether there are sites which contain trainer-strategies for fighters or healers available? [If so, where? :)]
Btw: My training strategy is quite simple so far: Train with Eva until/if I'm 3rd circle, then get some Horus. (although I fear that I'll need to train with someone to use a cad)

Sargon, you asked: "About Master Mentus: Do you have an idea what he'll help you with when training with him?"
Hmm, no, I don't have an idea :-)
I just find it funny to train with him (wasting rank, if you prefer :-). It is only an role playing idea, I don't think it is "efficient".
Same thing with Master Spirtus, I would like to have "too much" training with him, yes it will help when a healer tries to heal me, but if I remember well, Althus explained something like that: "20-30 is nice, more could be harmful for the new exile-healer"! As I would like to have more than 20-30, it could be funny... :-)

Sargon: Your training strategy is pretty sound, but you REALLY should consider throwing in quite a bit of Respia unless you want drain-city. Just a suggestion, though.
Farhope: Sounds like a fun strategy [sic.] to me. I'd suggest throwing in some brewing, tailoring, Troilus, and NothJuiceus too. You could make a decent living that way, y'know.
Have fun with your new training path :)
