I say we take over the town. Who's with me? ;-)

Seriously though, a few things have occurred to me. The fear and drive to form a government sparked by Tenebrion seems to have hacked up and died. Apathy is the way of life once again.
We are starting to set up formal ties to other clans, namely Tan through Aeth, and RQ through Tessa.
Why not, once we have a few other links, have all of the linked people sit down every so often, and discuss issues on behalf of their clans?
I think this is something that, if we start, others will join in on. If you look over the rosters of many clans, they have cross-linked representatives to other clans at present, so this would just be a means of getting them all together a bit.
We could get the ball rolling on a crude clan council system, that might inspire people to further the notion.

I know this and things like it have been tried several times in the past. The problem with those attempts were that they tried to please everyone. If someone doesn't like us chatting with other clans, screw them! Who cares? Yeah. So I think it would work. /action nods sagely

I think we have a decent chance at sucess with a "screw you" attitude towards non-participators. That's how every sucessful government works. While surprised that this hasn't been tried before, I think we're going to need the backing of some big strong clans. The ones I know for a fact we can count out are: GDI, PM, EMI, and possibly the CA.

(going off on a tangent) In the mean time, forget Tenebrion. The rest of the Brion family is a much bigger threat. Umbrion in particular. I suggest that when the magic shield around his island fades, we go in with guns blazing and die heroic deaths, never to be seen again.

That is all.

I agree with the "if you arent interested, dont participate" ideal. The best way to recruit people to a cause is by demonstration, not invitation. Though invitation definitely doesnt hurt either <grins>

I also agree with Althus about Umbrion. he kidnapped Tenebrion last night, bribed all of the keep guards, filled the castle with fire drakes and fire walkers, and then disappeared when we tried to rescue Tenebrion. He looks like a jet black sylvan male, with bright red hair like mine and he can walk on the ocean (though I suspect this is GM laziness, not religious context) I dont trust Tenebrion, but I trust this guy even less.
