So are we ready to challenge NnK? A race and an all out arena battle!!!

Yes? That's what we'll do?

I have the challenge written up - basically I'd like final approval since a couple people voiced concerns about the arena battle.

So please let me know ASAP! I'm going to email the newest draft of the challenge out soon and hopefully that will be the final draft and we can challenge NnK!!!

For those wondering what happened to challenge #1, don't worry! It's still coming.

The problem is that the Dwarven Militia and OWE have an arena battle next weekend (the 10th) so ours would probably conflict.

So how about trying for a challenge on the 16th or 17th?

Can people make it?

I can make it that weekend. I will be out of town from Dec 23 to Dec 28 though, and probably not clanning much then.

On the assumption that there's some chance of me being in the clan by then... I'll probably be available, but it depends on the time of day.

Uhhhh, no offense meant, but as none of the fair ladies in the clan could quite replace the one I have here, and that weekend is our wedding anniversery (17th), I must offer my regrets.

Sadly, I cannot attend on the 16th or 17th. As much as I hate to say it, if its going to be on a weekend, I am almost assuredly not going to get to go.

I am not sure about my schedule at all anymore...Everytime I think I am going to be free to play at a certain time on the weekend, something comes up (hence my absence from the recent meetings). It has gotten to the point that I am just expecting to not be able to play on the weekends, and if I can it will be a pleasant surprise.

Ah well, my illness has sapped my resolve more than I anticipated. It's not even one in the morning, and I'm already bleary-eyed and ready to crawl into bed. I'll try again when I'm more rested up. =) All you lucky same time zone people!

I have inspected the new structure for the dun'ilsar ranking. Taking on the NNK would indeed be practice and fun for us, but would not get us up in the ranks. I, personally, am willing to take on anyone, despite their ranking, as long as it will prove fun. As such, i think we should take the OWE up on their offer, and accept their For-fun challenge. We should challenge the NNK to get more clans active in Dun'Ilsar, as well as for pracitce and a more even fight. Finally, to go for the real gusto, we should challenge the Red Quill to an artistic challenge - I am not sure what choices in that category there are, but ideally, one that allows any media the members desire (writing, drawing,movies, musical work, etc) Weve got lots of creative people, and when you take out the need for ranks, suddenly the odds do not look so bad. At the very least, we'd earn some respect for taking them on at their own game, as well as showing that Clan Lord doesnt always have to be about the ranks you have. All 3 of them sound like fun to me!
