I have enjoyed a number of hunts with WoD members and several of you have given me help. I enjoy WoD and am considering applying for membership. However, there is also a group of new exiles that has begun to discuss the merits of joining existing clans vs. forming our own. While many of us have found existing clans we like, the thought that joining different clans might cause "the gang" to break up holds at least this cat back from asking to join WoD immediately.

In the mean time, I would like to continue participating in WoD events, if you will have me.

As official membership coordinator, I proclaim that no matter which clan you are in, you shall be welcomed here. I suggest the clan title "The Raging Butterflies" <grins>

Yes anyone from any clan is welcome to join us on hunts. The more the better the hunt right?

You should do what makes you happy Curiosity. However, I will say that joining separate clans will only cause the gang to break up if you let it. Forming a clan is great if it is what you guys want, but if all you want is to continue to hang out together, you can do that, clan or no, as long as you all consider hanging out with your gang a priority.

Our clan welcomes anyone who wants to hang out with us, member or not, and we would definitely love to continue to have you participate in our events, no matter what you decide.

P.S. I prefer "The Raging Flutterbies"!

I'm with the others in encouraging you to do what you think best. The Winds will always welcome anyone who wants to be welcomed.

Just to be ornery ('cause I'm like that) you should bear in mind that forming a clan could well end up splitting up your gang. Sure happened to me. I can't think of the last time I hung out with Amelia or Amy, or any of my 'old school buds'. I understand that Tan Team went through something similar, but that was sketchy information from a while ago. Anyway, just trying to show both sides of the skull.

Well, events have proceeded far faster than I expected. I came out of the library today and was greeted by a new member of Open Hands. I'm joing for now, and hoping for the best, but perhaps I could function as an ambasador of sorts?
