Hi
In the Dentir Longtooth hut in the northern east farms, Calti Pouder is there. She says the following:
Calti Pouder says, "Thank goodness you people are finally starting to recover mandibles properly."
Calti Pouder says, "I still can't extract much kyten from them, but it's been getting better."
Calti Pouder asks, "Konoko, would you like to buy a pouch of kyten for 3500 coins?"
What does Kyten do for you?
Any ideas, guesses, theories, etc?

3500 coins!?
oh I remember that she asked 7500 coins. I suppose that nobody buys and that the price goes down.
Nobody buys because, maybe, nobody knows what it is :-)

Ok! So 3500 is quite the deal! It's less than half of what it cost before! Someone with 3500 go buy some and find out what it does!
Maybe something to do with the NPC noid?

We all need to sit down and discuss this. I have been reviewing the transcript from the conversation with Katpus. He mentions a link to the noids. Shall we devote this weeks meeting to a brainstorming session?
FYI: the transcript is on Babajaga's Diary scroll.

Just a guess....
If she's deriving powder from the mandibles, then it's probably a collagen-type agent, in other words the stuff used to make jel'lo (a mythical delicacy good with little oranges), certain glues, paints, and other things. I would wager this might be an alchemist ingredient of some kind.

Also, in terms of the price coming down, keep in mind the fact that since Dentir came around people are gleefully hacking away at mandibular critters. Perhaps the increased supply of mandibles means she can offer her powder for less money. Which of course means that we should all be gleefully hacking away even more at the mandible-bearing creatures to get that price down to something near what a healer can afford. =)

Ahoy there!
On 'Noth a few days ago, I noticed someone walking around carrying a pouch of Kyten. Can't remember who, now. I asked him what it did, and this was his answer:
"Kaboom!"
:)
Hmm.... weren't there some caved-in caves out in the foothills?
