This wasn't how it was supposed to happen. I got excited today because I got a ghostie for the first time in a long time. I was showing the ghostie the healer hall - the ghostie hadn't quite figured out I wasn't a program - but I decided to give the tour first and explain later ;-). It occured to me that with a zodiac in the library, I was elligable to take the test, so I figured, why not take a fall? I never in my wildest dreams thought I would pass - I mean, I probably have less than 120 earned healer ranks (I went toes with Eva and then started learning from thuja a short time before this break - she says I am a better student now, but most of that is from training with Eva). Of course it didn't occur to me to make a visionstone, but it went something like this: I started next to gloria, healing her as soon as she fell. When the vermine appeared, I circled around the rocks with the vermine in tow and headed back to gloria and continued to heal her. I think I must have wound up with the LV blocking the GV because the vermine mostly wiffed. I blinked, and Gloria was up! At first, I was sure that I must have fallen in my blink, but then I noticed my health was down slightly and Gloria was sending out the cogratulations message!

Thanks for the muffins Kiriel who used to be a dragon! They were yummy! But I now feel that my passing truely was a fluke after reading the message from the gods concerning the changes brought by the storm. I had though I was just lucky, but it seems the wiffing of the vermine was not simple luck. I suppose I should tell the gods what happened and let them take their vengance on me[:(]
