I met a strange looking fen(?) in south forest.
He tried to trap me with some cats bolok, artaks...

He almost succeed (but only almost :-). I think he was angry I could kill "his" cats [I received my first bad karma btw :-) I really deserved it I think (in his view) as I was taunting him: "oh easy!" and laughing!].

Does anybody know more about him?

Yes...Savage is a pure player-killer character. He will do his best to dump creatures on exiles, or to pull or push exiles into creatures, in order to kill them. He will also try to push the exile's fallen body out of the way to make it harder for a healer to find.

And yes, I have personal experience of this with him...

He came up in our player-character monster thread - and seeing how he opperates is part of why I think player-character monsters are a bad idea. More skilled exiles laugh him off, but he is a nightmare for newbies. I have seen him in action twice.
