WOD Meeting ( Live and in person )

Hi,

You know, I would really love to meet any or all of you WODers. I proppose that we have a meeting / get-together like some of the other clans do so that we can get to know each other in OOCville.

Is anyone else interested in this?

If so, we need to come up with a date and a central location so that as many as possible can come.

Any suggestions, ideas or comments?

I would love to in principle, but I would first like to clan with you all more regularly. Re-affirm the IC connections, as I fell rather out of the loop. But, if I could get where-ever things were taking place, I would do my durndest. As long as it's in at least a month, I should be fine.

I also love the principal of the idea, but do not have the money to take a trip more then a couple hours from my house, unofrtunately...and U.S. northern midwestern clanners seem to be a rare breed.

Aerick: Any chance that you can convince your special someone to play CL as well? That surely would help you to have more time to play CL. :)

As for an OOC-WoD meeting, that surely sounds like fun. But since I'm living in such a far-off place, that it's highly unlikely that I ever could attend one.

Hi all,

Well, we can try to do something. Yeah, it seems that many live in the west coast. I am in Texas so I am pretty central to both coasts. I love to travel and now that I have a decent car, I can.

Pretty much my only criteria would be to make it there and back in a weekend, so I am pretty flexible. A long weekend though might work out best like Rising Claw did over Memorial Day. I was part of that.

But, first we need to determine how many would be interested in getting together in the flesh.

hmmmm... I dunno.... heh. Yes. Of course. I actually don't like concerts, too much noise and parties and such. But I bought them for my friend for her birthday (I sat at the stupid computer clicking buy for 20 minutes just to get back row first level seats. My fingers still hurt) and now she's dragging me with her. AND my mom has to go becuase her mom said she'd die if she had to go. It's gonna be fuuuuuuuuuuuun.

Well, I have a suggestion. How about Kansas City Misouri for a meeting place?

2 points:
First off, I think we should definitely open up any meeting we have to other Clanners. Otherwise the turnout will be less than a handful of people.
Second, Memorial Day doesn't work for me. And I don't even know where this Kansas place is. I'll have to look into airfare or whatnot. Gah, I'm not sure if I'll be free ANY time soon, because school's starting up, which takes a lot of my energy. *sigh* I hate scheduling
