Time/Timezone question

Hi!

I think that the server is a bit confused about the time.

Server "says":
All times are GMT +2 hours. The time now is 02:52 PM.

It's 01:52PM now in my timezone and I'm pretty sure I'm GMT+2 (during summertime) Others have similar problems? I know it's not a big issue, I'm just wondering. :)

And yes, I verified that I'm GMT+2, so I'm REALLY sure. :)

I'm not sure where to set the timezone for the forum. I have set the timezone in the events-page of the WoD-scrolls to "CEST". I'm not sure whether the forum uses this setting or a different one I'm not aware of.

But I know this:
CET Central Europe Time (GMT +1 hour)
CEST Central Europe Summer Time (GMT +2 hours)

So Farhope, if you have chosen (where did you choose that?) "CEST" and it also says "GMT+1", something's wrong.

I'm sure Kiri can shed some light on this as soon as she's up and reads this. :) And I somehow fear that I've missed something extremely obvious and I'll look like an idiot in a few hours...

Sorry Sargon, my fault:

- I have CEST choosen on the scroll in "Clan Events"
- I have CET (GMT+1) on the forum

for both, the time is correct for me... why? I don't know.

Farhope, where did you specify the timezone for the forum?

I've changed the timezone at the events page just for fun, but it didn't affect the timezone on the forums page. (which doesn't surprise me since the forum works with Username/Password whereas the events page does not) I've checked my forum-profile but fail to see where to change the timezone setting. What do I miss? :) [apart from Sinan *smiles*]

Go to "user cp" in the top right corner, then select "Edit Options." It's about 2/3rds of the way down.

I _knew_ I missed something! Thanks! =) While the timezone is not really correct the times themself show up right now and don't confuse me anymore. :)
