Aug 4th meeting...

Hi

As I mentioned in the hunt thread, I'm going away for part/most of the weekend. I should be able to make 1 or 2 of the hunts Sat morning but I doubt very much I will be able to make the hunt on Saturday afternoon.

It's not because it's a varied schedule that I'm missing meetings, it's more likely just because it's summer out!

I think I will not be at the meeting this zodiac.

Clan ambassador stuff:
- As the whispering winds game seems to begin to be played now (j/k for those who try hard :-), I will most certainly extend the game duration. I most still contact the whispering winds to see if there is no problem with that.
- Dun'ilsar: I would like to have propositions for one more zodiac, after that I will try to make the first challenge. I have problem to write down rules and explanations but you will have to correct me :-)
- Hunt/exploration with Red Quill: I have posted in another thread about this... summary: we will have a hunt but in some zodiacs, don't hold your breath.

Other topics:
- What to do my the "change" (Mar Solkin/potion fund)? [I am ok with all ideas I heard, preference for a party :-) ... or rounding up the sum to buy a sunstone and giving it to the DPDF (?not sure anymore about the spelling?)]
- Idea from Kiri: everybody could try to schedule a new-exile hunt/ooc month.
- Would it be possible and good to have ... something/a flag/a menu on our scroll that everybody can place when she/he is busy in the library for a long time. Something like a hint for the other clanmates to not worry about the absent person (a post in the forum can be quickly forget, misread or missed). Not sure about the idea and about the presentation... (clear? not? hmm, I would have better to begin a new thread with this).

I, sadly, won't be able to make it either. A friend of mine really needs to get out of the library at that time for the LIFE expedition to the Foothills, but he lost his library card, so he can't get out unless he borrows mine.

I might be able to make the meeting this afternoon. I told Nuvali I would be able to but I just found out it's 3 PM CST and not 4 PM CST. (Nuvali - I think we're different CSTs... :)
Anyways, I'll see what I can do...

I should be able to make the hunt at 3:45 CST though!

Probably the difference is CDT versus CST :)

I may or may not be at the meeting this weekend. My in-laws will be arriving momentarily and I'm not sure if I'll be too busy. Also, my hubby got his TiBook today (his first Mac), so I'll probably be helping him play with it.

Sorry for missing the hunt last night- we had 15 or so clanners in a room all hunting together on Noth. It was very fun but so disorienting!

The CST vs. CDT thing threw me for a loop a couple months back. Yeah...technically, I am CST, but right now it's CDT. If it was around 12 pm (for you, Konoko) when we were going to meet for the last (noids) hunt, then use CDT.

I'm CST all year round! It's the rest of you that get all mixed up... :)


Anyways, now it looks like I won't be to make the meeting or the hunt. I just got back but now I'm invited to a movie...

P.S. The TiBook is amazing! A friend got one a week or so ago. The display looks gorgeous!

Hear hear! So Konoko not only spells "Curiousity" the right way, she also lives in an area which doesn't have summer time! Must be because of the Spirtus training!
