I have a question. Periodically, when I'm on a hunt in a really hard area, like with a dozen people in the Valley, I will get complimented that I'm a good healer.

Then I consider that most of these people are 4th+ circle, and have been clanning since the Ripture Wars, and that the healers they normally hunt with have got to be way stronger than I.

I think I have the 200-250 rank message with Eva. And I keep hearing about people with hundreds and hundreds of ranks in a given area. Like Thuja's 1100+ with Eva.

Now, I consider that maybe I'm just barely good enough to be useful there, and I don't cause problems, so they're being encouraging and supportive. This could be the case, or that they don't know me because I'm not too sociable, and are surprised that I don't suck.

Or is Aerick up there in comparison with major healers?

Can I get feedback (be as critical as you like) about Aerick's rank-effectiveness?

(As opposed to his actual effectiveness, where he will get almost killed by something because I don't feel like moving).

Well, I don't hunt with high level healers that much, but in my experience you seem to be a pretty darn good healer. Certainly I don't have to worry about you falling when I hunt with you, and since I frequently hunt with 1st circle healers, that's a plus :)

But seriously, when I was on the Don't Blow it stuff with ya, I think everything went well. I didn't know too much about how that range thing works with the cad but once you told me to stand still more instead of rushing into battle and chasing after everything when you're trying to heal me, I think things worked out better for ya.

So, yeah I guess there's some advice for ya! Get some more cad range stuff! I'm a fighter so I shouldn't have to change my style of fighting for you healer types, right? :)


/ponder But then again I have like hardly any troilus and I need healers to heal me...

Okay, I changed my mind again. It'll be like an Orga Camp Raid. Just tell me where to stand, when to fight, and when not to fight... :)

The Upside: In addition to your good healing skills, you're quick on your feet (which surprises me from all that lack of exercise you've been getting with your pendant ;-). You stay level-headed, and don't panic.

How much faster is Thuja than I? twice? ten? a hundred?
Suu'ub III? J'Jh? J'dner? Lorikeet? Galadriel? Kisa? Oracle? Other notables?

How's my Higgrus compare with the above?

Do I take too long to heal up from red to white compared to the above?

Um, if you're not faster than Lorikeet you need to take a look at your training! Remember that most of her ranks are in horus- I don't think she's even toes in Faustus.

Lorikeet's good for those "I was chewed on by 30 rats for the past hour" moments.

My advice: Never even THINK about comparing yourself to Thuja or Axell. You'll just get depressed. Really really depressed.

Assuming you have "hard to find more to teach you" with Faustus, I believe Thuja is about 2.5 times faster.

And aren't the ranks diminishing returns? If they only have 2x as many ranks, maybe they're only 1.5x as fast...

Thuja is quite possibly the highest ranked player in the whole game. A constant 20 shares will do that ;)

Add to that her ultra-ultra efficient training style... She has over 300 faustus just from Eva.

Aerick, how lame! Only 200-250 ranks with Eva!? Eva tells me I have attained tremendous skill! Well, she must be drunken or something.. On the downside Respia tells me I'm an idiot. No wait, that was you! [;)]

Of course you are a great healer, Aerick! I think you have more Higgy (percentage-wise) than most other healers. But also nice speed! And good recovery. Heck you're 1000x better than me! [:)]

I think that J'jh has a whole lot of Higgrus. And there's always Hunter, who can't be healed by me if he doesn't have 2 hours time to wait..

I think you're mixing J'team up. J'nder has a boatload of higgrus (but great selfheal). J'jh has tons of Sespus (a ledger, even)
