Public thanks for the last meeting

[:)] I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the last rescue meeting. It was a whole lot of fun being the one rescuing others instead the opposite as when I arrived in Puddleby. Of course, it doesn't help that part of the requirement to becoming a mystic involves running through areas alone that should not be attempted by a halfling with just 100 Bodrus. I don't know how many others WoD members are mystics but I will be very happy to boost your ability to hit effectively once I figure out how this rod works. It will take a while but I look forward to being a helpful mystic for your group.

I also want to say thanks to Maxmillian who lent me his short sword and let me keep it while refusing any short of payment. Mehan who gave me a blue shirt in lieu of charcoal. I've been using that sword and have almost been able to look at it without being scared. It is, after all, the size of my legs. I really look forward to growing taller as I age. [:D]

Windy mystics include but are not limited to Rincewind and Phiros. Though Phiros has not been around for a very long time.

I've also heard (through the grapevine, of course) enough about mystics to be of some help, especially when it comes to Halflings. Feel free to ask me anything *if* you can catch me ;)

While I'll take you up on your offer if I need to be escorted anywhere, I won't ask you about any specific mystic detail. It's been a real thrill so far to find all of the crazy places that I need to go and will only ask for help from a fellow mystic if am 100% stuck.

I still don't understand the need for all the secrecy but I expect that when I'm a full mystic, I'll understand. [:p]

Oh, and I do know of Rincewind. He has located me several times when I've fallen and helped organize a rescue. I am very grateful to his help. While I've decided to be a boosting mystic, I'm glad that there are locating mystics out and about.[:)]

I don't know why but I can't seem to write a post without including at least one smile.
