Clan Fund Discrepancy

I went to borrow 500c from the clan fund today for chain repair (broke 4 in one day, how annoying!) and when I withdrew from the bank there was only 2689c left. This is way off from the 8691c balance that the funds log has us at, and I'm a bit concerned. Does someone know where the rest of the money went? Did someone forget to log it? It's probably just something missing in the log, but it is a large sum so it would be helpful to sort this out quickly. Please post if you know anything.

I spoke to Pucker today. He says it was he that took the money, and he means to have it back within a few days. I'm thinking there was some confusion over procedure. He says he couldn't find anyone to ask about it (he has some weird thing against using email or other ooc things to discuss ic things). He's going to send Mehan an explanation.

Mehan, Max and I removed him from the treasurer list, so I don't expect this will happen again. It's probably due to him not being around much and not knowing the treasury policy.

In a case like that, where they haven't been removed from the treasurer list I think:

You should NOT be able to take out funds unless you are a treasurer. EVEN if your name is listed and the bank will let you DO NOT TAKE IT OUT. The exception would be if my lazy butt is in the library, then possible Kiriel or Aerick could help. But, I think I'm am pretty much readily available for these kinds of things. And if you do!!!, please please pretty please post it! I look so silly when 6k suddenly vanishes and I have no idea where it wandered off too.
