Treasury needs purchase orders

Well, now that the immediate Sunstone needs of the clan are taken care of, the treasury can begin focusing on getting less critical items out to clansmembers.

Since I'm the only one who has told me what they want, the only items in the queue are a shield for me and an axe for me. While I'm not COMPLAINING about this situation, I figure there are much better ways to spend our money, but in order to accomodate everyone's needs, people need to request stuff from the Treasury.

Even if you only need another 200c to be able to afford that Greatsword (Terenas let me play with his while we were hunting today. It was so nifty!) or want some trivial item, let me know and we can work with that. So, through this Forum, or e-mail (prolly best option), or seeing me in the lands, start submitting requests for items and funds.

Well, to start I have an axe that I can lend you...
I'll want it back eventually but currently it's just sitting in my inventory as I don't really have the balthus/regia to be comfortable using the axe right now...

And my sunstone is worn. It's been worn since I got it. I got a heck of a deal for it but it's worn. It works fine now and it has for the past 2-3 months but I'm sure one of these days it'll wear out or explode or something...

Of course, now that I've mentioned this it'll wear out tomorrow :)


So that's something for the treasury to keep in mind I guess. But as I said, currently it's no rush as it works fine now. But you'll definitely hear from me once it wears out! :)

Don't forget that a sunstone can be used as listen-only if it is worn indefinitely. So it is a good idea perhaps to just keep it as a listen-only stone if it seems to be close to breaking and make sure it still is useful as long as possible.

Hmm, are we really that well stocked as a clan? Really, at this point, we can start picking up some non-critical items for convenience and benefit. If the rumor is true that shields are useful, I think I'll buy one if no one speaks up with a better need first....

I can toss acouple wood yer way Aeric. At this point, I have no shield, but am quite happy with my Fallus training. Cradlesong also has a log, picked up after the last clan meeting.

Speaking of wood, Sargon is going to get the log I found if I have to strap him to it and float him to 'Noth! I was in S forest with him, and I thought he had ran past it and hadn't seen it, so I grabbed it to give to him, and the bum won't take it!

Well, back to the Treasury needing purchase requests....

We now have well over 2500c, and after purchasing, say .... 4 kegs, we'll still have well over 1000c, not counting further donations in that time. We also have a brand, squeaky new Sunstone, and no forseeable expenses coming up.

Does anyone have 30 Loovma for a chain? Need a shield? Want a fishing rod? Anything?

I want to see a lot of inflow and outflow of money. It's no fun to sit on a pile of cash!

Great. Here is the breakdown of expenses I'm figuring for the Fire Island Party.

1400c - 4 kegs (not sure how many we'll actually use, but we'll bring plenty)
200c - advertising (I don't know what, other than a Koppi announcement, be creative)
100c - Boat fees for clan members and special guests

Total cost - 1700c

This will still leave us above the 1k mark for coins, and unless we advertise REALLY well, I doubt we'll need all four kegs. But if so, all the better!

Anyway, Nunul, your budget is the 300c outside of the beer, which I'll purchase (something about dwarves and beer seemed a bad idea). Let the fun commence.

Thanks much to the clan treasury fund for the 1200 coins money to tune my sunstone!

It's been worn since I got it (I got it cheap)... :)

I started talking to some mystics and I was given 2 prices 1600 from Sie and 1500 from Raldin. I've since been told that Zorton also offers good prices.

What Sie and Raldin do is take your worn sunstone and your money and then give you a fresh sunstone right away. You don't have to wait or them to tune it. This seems to be a quiock way of getting your sunstone tuned up.
