I just have a few questions. Dentir Longtooth trains one to recover mandibles of creatures. I am guessing that he is similar to Skea...is he worth training? Would I be able to recover mandibles of, say, myrms? And finally, what is kyten?
Thanks,
Hippocrates

It may be worth training Dentir, depending on where you hunt. If you hunt in areas such as the myrm hives, the noids, and other areas with lots of crawlers or spiders, it may be useful. Dentir is a fairly new trainer, so there aren't many specialized in him, unlike Skea. This may make him a better choice since other folks you're with may have skea, but might be less likely to have dentir.
I think there are more critters that give fur, and certainly more that give higher coin furs, but the areas they are in are usually heavily hunted, so with dentir you might be able to hunt other areas more attractively that aren't so crowded, such as the Spider Caves in the east forest and the many beaches where crawlers hang out. It also will make you popular with the noid hunting groups and you might get asked to the Valley more when you get higher level because there are beetles there with very high coin mandibles.
I believe kyten is a powder made from mandibles. The only current use I know of is for white healing potions, but there may be other uses we are unaware of.

Well thank you. My favorite place to hunt is the hives, so I am sure that this would come in handy.
Thanks again,
