Treasury Discrepency

Well the Treasury has made another purchase, this time in the form of a shield for Nunul. While entering the money changes, I found out that how much money the bank thinks we have is different from how much money our record books think we have. Fortunately, the bank thinks we have more money. =)

However, I do want to point out that it's really hard to keep track of clan money when it appears without warning or record. I know that I haven't been on much recently, but that's because of the holidays, and will be over soon. If more clan treasurers are needed, let me know, and we can get some others responsible for recordkeeping. Alternatively, we can just have a thread here in the Forum to write in donations. If that is what we do, the post would need name, amount donated, amount of bank fee, and total balance.

Of course, just (as in, within 30seconds) of posting that, the money issue was promptly sorted out. Nonetheless, I think that a thread to record member donations would be useful, as they would not have to wait around for certain people to log on.

If you want Aerick, I can open up the treasury form to all the clan members, but that's completely up to you. Or we can just have a thread in the forum or have members notify you if they make deposits.

I'm really leery of opening the form to everyone. I know that I often almost forget to log entries, and that's with the pressure of knowing anything wrong is entirely my fault. Sometimes, it's only my triple-redundancy records that keep everything accurate. But then, maybe it'll just work.
'K I changed my mind. Let's try opening it up to everyone, then all members have the option of doing it themselves, or going through a Treasury representative.

Kiriel, is there a quick and easy way to have the log show only transactions from certain members or containing certain words (ie - repayment). This would make figuring out how much people owe the Treasury a lot easier (but if it would take you much time, forget it, I have a pen and paper. =)

I will add a feature for filtering treasury listings by search terms. Probably this weekend. And I'll open up the treasury form to everyone as soon as I remember to.

Alrighty! I have added a filter feature on the treasury log. Take a look and let me know if I missed anything you need (I think I've been very thorough!). If anyone has any problems with the page let me know but I think it should all work smoothly, and should hopefully make it easier for everyone to look up their own donations and withdrawls.
