Strange Things

After coming out of the library a little while this morning, I noticed a few strange things. For example, as soon as I got out I got the message: "

Of all those things the only one I've heard of is "* You gain experience." That seems to occur at odd times and I've found no set reason for it. The other messages are completly new to me.

Ok I will tell you what I know, although this is by no means official, only my observations.

There are a number of 'experience' messages that you can get. I did get all those you mention in the past. Those that I am aware of are:

There's also the healing experince (I'm not sure what the actual message is).

And there's the skinning experience message. And on the weekend I got the mandible extraction experience message (I'm not sure long this has been around).

These all go to your experience pool and when you get enough for a rank along with all the other ways to get experience, you get a rank.

This is my understanding how it works. I have heard theories from people that say something like skinning experience goes toward skea but I don't think that's true. I think it just gets added to the rest of your experience.

When a female Orga drops a chest, you don't always see it unless you know what you're looking for. When an exile pops open the chest, everyone within visible distance shares in a small experience and coin bonus. The total coin bonus for a 'zerk is 10c. If there are five-ten exiles present, there is a good chance your share will be 1c.

The messages you would see are:
*You gain (some) experience.
*You pick up 1 coin.

Well, that does make sense then, thank you Karkras. I happened to be the only one in the clan on, and there was about 8 of us when the zerk was killed.
