Advanced Warning

This weekend (from Friday 25/01/2000 to Monday 28/01/200 Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time) I will not be available to clan.

This weekend is oen of the Big 2 RPG conventions hosted locally - Arcanacon (http://arcanacon.vurt.net).

This weekend is a chance to play some Living Greyhawk (http://www.livinggreyhawk.com, http://www.living-greyhawk.com, and http://www.oerth.com - Since I'm in Australia, naturally I'm a Perrenlander - http://lythia.com/perrenland/).

This weekend is a chance to catch up with some people I haven't seen for months.

This weekend is a chance for me to forget about the real world for 4 days.

So, effectively, Terra will be in storage for those 4 days.

But when I come back, Terra should be ready to take the 3rd Circle test again (and hopefully remember to equip his flail and possibly pass).

Just thought I'd give clan-mates a fair bit of warning (since it's Tuesday night now, which means Friday is 3 days away) :-)

I don't play living greyhawk but I do play 3 ed D&D.

I'll be intresting in hearing more about living greyhawk though.

It's been a fun convention so far.

Alby, whilst some live roleplaying goes on, I don't do it. It doesn;t interest me (but I do help my friends run their live roleplaying games.

Living GreyHawk is an on-going DnD 3rd Edition roleplaying world, where everyone around the world participates. It's still paper and pencil stuff.

Other games I've done (see the site I posted on the con for more info) are "In the Deep Desert" (four people are summoned by Cleopatra to find an ancient artifact, "Catnip and Old Faith" (4 Gods are re-incarnated itnot he bodies of house cats), and the 3 Session DnD Major "Are we not drawen onward..." (4 Orcs and a Human must fulfill a prophecy to save the world....or destroy it).

I'm also running a Settlers of Catan Tournament.

One more day of sleep deprivation and sugar highs to go....
