I shall be leaving the lands for an unforeseeable amount of time. The leaves are calling me back to my homeland. I know it is sudden, but the designs of fate often are. Farewell, my friends.

OOC: does Lilly will still be a character in CL (just staying in the library or in the kitchen near Zeucros :-) or you stop to play and to pay; and you - the player I mean - will not keep Lilly - the character - ... so, Lilly will not be anymore in the game, in the lands... and in the clan?

Just an FYI, Goric left the lands for many months, but he was able to make some sort of arrangement with Joe so that he could be kept in the library indefinitely. Which is a good thing cause when he came back, he was still good ol Goric, and had 175 new ranks to boot :)

So if you do end up leaving (god I hope not!) do be sure to ask to keep Lilly in safekeeping, for the ultimate return.

Well,

I don't keep up here as often as I should. I suppose I have too much work to do and my nose is in my lab books too much. But... I have to say I am so sad to see Lilly leave us.

It was Lilly that led me to this clan, and though I still don't understand clans very well, I do enjoy being a part of it. It's been great to get to know you all a bit better.

When I first learned that Lilly had left, my heart sank. So much left to do... so many things needing closure... Will the black mark on her hand ever be restored? What happened with the assault related to Fanan? What of her people, and the ongoing quest to protect and defend them?

And... for me... a dear dear friend. I don't think I will be myself for quite some time. I just... it's just so lonely here... I'm going to miss her so much.

I'm sure eventually Lai will be back better than ever!
We just have to wait... :(

While it's definitely sad to see people leave (either temporarily or permanently), we have to keep in mind that as people leave, more people are coming! Old friends leave and we must remember the good times with them. But, remember that with the new people coming into clan lord and our clan, we can make new friends and friendships...

So goodbye to Lai, Aethelred, and others that are leaving, but hello to Goric, Deli, and the others that are new to WoD!


Hopefully this post will help cheer up this mopey and depressing thread!
